*Faculty will be required to manage their own grant, within the awarded amount, and work with their unit’s budget person to insure it is properly expensed and credited. . Note that that fringe benefits and indirect costs are added automatically to personnel cost allotments.

·        Significance and potential contribution to GT CIBER’s grant commitments and areas of focus.

·        Prior  CIBER grant awards to the applicant and deliverables

·        Significance and potential contribution to disciplinary fields and functional silos

·        Significance and potential contribution to other units of the Institute

·        Innovativeness of the research

·        Degree of research rigor

·        Degree of interdisciplinary impact
