the International Institute of Forecasting, hosted this year by Georgia Tech (ISyE, DCoM, Public Policy, Economics, GT CIBER), is being held at
Callaway Gardens, Pine Mountain, GA.
The symposium features more than 50 presentations specifically focused on the practice of forecasting for business applications, including logistics, e-business, inventory, forecasting systems and forecast management. For firms with longer term needs, there are sessions for Technology Forecasting. And, for financial teams we'll have numerous presentations on forecasting interest rates, GDP, and leading indicators. Five pre-conference workshops, on topics ranging from auditing the forecast function to neural net methods, are available on June 17 for an additional fee. The workshops are:
