Workshop Objectives:
This is the second annual Workshop, an integral part of the
world-wide
celebration of the French-speaking world. Atlanta will host
a week-long series of events Francophonie 2001. A business delegation
from Poitou-Charentes/France and Estrie, Quebec will also be in attendance
at the Workshop.
The Workshop is designed to:
*offer strategic information on the evolving e-business markets in a
differentiated French-speaking world
*present actual corporate cases and models of French, Canadian and U.S.
companies responding to these market opportunities
*provide a deeper understanding of technical, linguistic, cultural and
related issues shaping French language web design and use of the
internet in globalizing the value chain
*foster an exchange of views on cross-cultural differences in transforming
organizations through the internet
*promote match-making among potential partners and establish linkages
