Robert Kennedy, Ph.D.
Bob Kennedy returned to his position as Professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech in January 2003 after five years as director of the joint  German-American George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Garmisch, Germany. In nearly 35 years of government service, Bob has also served as Civilian Deputy Commandant, NATO Defense College, Rome, Italy;  Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of National Security Studies and senior researcher at the U.S. Army War College; Foreign Affairs Officer, U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency; and a command pilot on active duty with the U.S. Air Force and later with the reserve forces.  Bob first joined Georgia Tech in 1989 to help establish the School of International Affairs.
