International Franchising: The Big Emerging
Markets Tuesday, April 8, 2003, 8:00AM - 12:00PM
Objectives: The U.S. has experienced an explosion in franchising in the past two decades. New business models for distributing goods and services in free market economies have evolved. The fall of Communism and the move away from Socialism towards Free Market economies will allow the franchising model to diffuse rapidly among Pacific Rim, South American and Indian Subcontinent countries. Emerging markets account for 70% of the world's population and 60% of natural resources. They will experience rapid growth in earnings, further fueled by saturation in domestic markets. Who Should Attend: This executive workshop is designed for U.S.-based franchisers, managers of international operations, experts, consultants, attorneys, and individuals interested in expanding internationally. Location: The Coca-Cola Company Atlanta Office Complex, Central Receiving Building 3rd Balcony, Atlanta, Georgia (Following Parking Instructions; Welcome signs in CRB Rotunda) Parking and Security Requirements: Attendees are asked to proceed as follows.
